Living on the Edge

MDA collaborated with the Museum of Science and Institute of Oceanographic Research at the University of Rhode Island to design an exhibit that explores the environmental boundaries of coastal waters, ongoing scientific research, and our own perceptions of “edges” in everyday life.
The project includes a permanent installation at the Rhode Island facility and a traveling version funded by the Association of Science-Technology Centers. The exhibits include interactives prototyped at MOS and theatrical/graphic elements developed in collaboration with the artist, author and designer David Macaulay.
