George Washington on Horse

Leadership and Service

United States Naval Academy Museum, Annapolis, MD

As a subcontractor to RTKL Architects, MDA is designing two floors of exhibits a part of the Museum’s building renovation. Utilizing the extensive collection of objects and visual resources from the Academy’s holdings, the first floor exhibition will focus on Academy graduates and qualities of leadership from the inception of the Navy to modern day. The second floor exhibit highlights the Museum’s extensive ship model collection in context of a midshipman’s life during the age of sail.

MDA is also responsible for specifying all exhibit-related renovations, including electrical and lighting system, and finishes to be incorporated into the AE package.
